What is residential proxy detection?

Residential proxies route traffic through real consumer devices and ISP ranges, making automated and fraudulent traffic look like an ordinary home user. Because the IP belongs to a legitimate ISP, simple ASN or datacenter checks miss them. Residential proxy detection identifies IPs that are part of a residential proxy network using behavioural reputation, pool membership and shared-usage patterns rather than ownership alone.
