Terms of Service

By accessing or using IPScanner ("Service"), you agree to be bound by the following terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Service Usage
The Service offers IP lookups, VPN detection, ASN lookup, WHOIS, geolocation, and related tools. You agree to use these tools in compliance with applicable local, state, and international laws.
2. API Rate Limits
Your access is subject to rate limits according to your subscription tier. Automated scraping, abuse, or bypassing of these limits may result in immediate suspension or termination.
3. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service for illegal activity, including but not limited to surveillance without consent, harassment, spam generation, or any activity that violates privacy rights or applicable regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
4. Service Availability
We strive to maintain uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, updates, or outages may occur at any time without notice.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at our sole discretion for any reason, including misuse or violation of these terms.
6. Billing & Subscriptions
Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed monthly or annually through our payment provider, Polar, acting as merchant of record. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. Upgrades and downgrades are prorated automatically. You may cancel at any time from your account billing portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
7. Refund Policy
Refund requests must be made within 7 days of a charge, and only partial refunds (for the unused remainder of the billing period, less any usage) are issued. Full details and eligibility are set out in our Refund Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. In no event shall IPScanner, its owners, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of or inability to use the Service.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IPScanner, its affiliates, and personnel from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes go into effect constitutes your acceptance.
