WordPress plugin
The edge check inside WordPress, for sites that are not behind Cloudflare.
Install
- 1Download the plugin, upload it under Plugins and activate it.
- 2Add a WordPress site in the dashboard.
- 3In Settings → IPScanner, paste your API key and the site's Site ID.
- 4Choose the protected areas and save.
The site starts in monitor mode. Its traffic and policy are on its page under Sites.
What the plugin sends
- POST /v1/edge/checkCounts as 2 requests
One call per visitor on a protected area.
- GET /v1/sites/{id}/policyNot metered
The site's policy, so a change in the dashboard needs no change in WordPress.
- X-IPScanner-Source: wordpress
Marks the call as the plugin's in your traffic and usage.
- User-Agent: ipscanner-wordpress/<version>
The plugin version, shown on the site's page.
